An Open Letter from Dr. Christine Durbak, Founder of World Information TransferJanuary 4, 2002
Dear Colleague:On behalf of World Information Transfer, I have the honor of inviting you to our 11th International Conference on Health and the Environment: Global Partners for Global Solutions, which will be held on April 25th and 26th 2002 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City. The theme this year is CHILDHOOD ANTECEDENTS TO ADULT ILLNESS.
As you may be aware, our conferences, held at the United Nations since 1992, are widely acclaimed for their quality of presentations and participants. This Conference is particularly relevant since the recommendations of our expert speakers will be submitted to the Governments for consideration at the Children’s Summit in May 2002 as well as the World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg in September 2002.We would be honored if you are personally able to attend our conference. We would also like to extend this invitation to others whom you feel will benefit from learning about this very important topic.
Although our conference is free, due to very strict security requirements at the United Nations, registration is mandatory, in advance by mail, e-mail or fax only.
This letter will serve as your invitation, so please fill in your response below and mail or fax it to us by April 10th, 2002.
