Information for Attendees
We look forward to welcoming you to World Information Transfer’s 28th International Conference on Health and Environment: Global Partners for Global Solutions on the theme, “Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals”.
The Conference location is at the United Nations Headquarters, on Friday, April 26th, 2019 from 10:00a.m. to 1p.m. at the ECOSOC chamber.
Please plan to arrive at the Visitors Entrance on 45th street and 1st avenue at least an hour before the conference start time (between 8:30am and 9:00am) to register, collect your conference pass, and go through UN Security procedure.
Please bring your Eventbrite confirmation with you along with a government issued Photo ID (e.g. passport, driver’s license) to collect your conference pass.
Dress Code
In view of the UN Protocol, participants are requested to dress in a professional manner for the international diplomatic environment at the UN. Kindly observe the following dress-code when coming to the conference:
Men:
– Permitted: Suit, jackets, collared shirts, ties, dress shoes
– Not-Permitted: Jeans, hats or caps, tennis shoes, t-shirts
Women:
– Permitted: Jackets, blouses, collared shirts, hosiery and dress shoes, dresses, skirts.
– Not-Permitted: Jeans, tennis shoes, t-shirts
The following Cafés will be open at the United Nations for tea/coffee, or to buy souvenirs:
– Vienna Cafe
– Visitors Lounge and Cafe
