Addressing Critical Issues in Health and Environment
Mission Statement
Education brings choices. Choices bring power.
World Information Transfer, Inc. (WIT) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization in General Consultative Status with the United Nations. WIT was formed in recognition of the pressing need to provide accurate, actionable information about our deteriorating global environment and its effect on human health through literacy.
The Ecology Enquirer is a monthly publication by the summer interns of WIT to address critical international health and environmental issues.
Note from the Editors
By Deeba L. Zivari and Addy Tang To Live and Let Live
As students from diverse backgrounds, we have united on one platform to set forth a message that recognizes interdependency among human beings. Together we call for a will to share. This month’s issue of the intern produced Ecology Enquirer emphasizes this interdependency through the sharing of new knowledge and provision of crucial information as to how we can better coexist in an ever-changing world. It is time we take sustainable measures — that we live and let live for generations to come.
As the world becomes increasingly globalized and interconnected, it is our responsibility to share the knowledge. Only when we have attained the same level of understanding can we together take preventative measures, seek sustainable solutions and establish better models for the future. In line with WIT’s mission of educating the masses by providing accurate, actionable information, we place our focus on the younger generations, who will be the main agents of change and steer the world’s future.
We recognize that Mother Earth and humans are intricately linked. We are on a humanitarian pursuit to build sustainable bridges between now and the future, regarding all matters that will affect us whether directly or indirectly.
Seek the truth and share it.
